In the Australian Desert Road house of Tjukayirla we met these two nuts yanks cycling through the middle of Australia. Amazingly they are smiling and full of happy life spirits. Good to meet you guys, Lorenz & Larry
Bob and Claire, Hi from Art and Sharon Gabriel, tandem riders from Boulder, CO. We first met in LA in about 2000 and again in Canmore
Canada in2004. I get your Favebook posts, but unfortunawelty I don’t do social media. Is there another way to follow your travels and pictures?

I mostly use Facebook now. People make comments and likes and I know they are watching. Even with a major adventure like th e1000 mile outback track in Australia only got comments from Aussies we met along the way. When we come back I put them in reading order and make a page out of them and still don’t get comments. I don’t bother with US trips like we just returned from Colorado for a month in the motorhome biking and hiking. Lots of people followed posts on Facebook but I didn’t bother putting them here partly because of limited wi fi in the mountains.. I think of New Bohemians as an archive for our big adventures and no longer expect to get comments. Ill continue blogging here on foreign trips maybe but social media is the way of things.. I hope New Bohemians will bring people in the future some surprises and enjoyment, if long form writing ever becomes a thing again..
All the adventures are here and some additions have been made. And there will be more soon I hope.. I may think about figuring a way to port over the Facebook posts to the blog here.. Not sure it possible but will try..
As you can see I don’t visit my own page very often! Facebook is where most of it goes. But any foreign trip gets posted here either during or after the trip. I find this format a bit difficult from a phone, which is all I use anymore. I always go back and reverse the posts to reading order after we return. This page is mostly an archive though that may change if they make phone posting easier..
Hope all is well with you. We’ve passed through Boulder a few times in our motorhome, usually headed for the west slope where we like booncocking and riding passes.
Miss you guys! We’re trying to get this website updated, and who knows, maybe we’ll see you in Colorado some year!
