where did you get your tandem bike. we are planning tandem bike trip either from Ho Chi Mihn City to Hanoi, or bike around the vicinity of the two cities, depending upon bike availability.

We flew our tandem to Chengdu, Sichuan China, rode across Tibet, into Yunnan then Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Highway One in Vietnam is the least interesting route in Vietnam. We liked the Mekong Delta and the Central Highlands better, though Hue was very nice.
I once lived in Portland, for seven years I believe, but that was beginning in 1978, a long time ago. It is however a favorite city, except for the weather. One of my sisters lives in Lake Oswego, so we visit often.
